Careers: Regional Distribution Centers
hhgregg is one of the nation's leading retailers of home appliances and consumer electronics, and all of our stores depend on the distribution centers to keep them stocked. With the promise of 100 Flat Panel TVs on display and over 500 appliances in stock, it is paramount that the distribution center keep each store equipped to match each customer up with the product they need.
Receiving, shipping, delivery and vendor returns are all handled through our distribution centers so it has to be organized, operate efficiently, and associates have to treat each product as if it was going to their home. So we're just as proud of the selection of products from the top brand names that our customers see in the store, as we are the associates behind the scenes that ensure that they are safely and efficiently handled at all times.
Warehouse Associate
Warehouse:
The primary responsiblities of warehouse asscociates is to receive product at the Regional Distribution Center and to pull sold product and prepare product for the next day’s delivery.
Warehouse Lead:
The basic function of the Warehouse Lead is to perform and oversee the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of product.
Office Administration
Delivery Office Administrator:
The primary responsibility of the Delivery Office associate is to provide excellent customer service to our customers and store associates through effective communication regarding delivery of product in the Region Distribution Center.
Delivery Office Supervisor:
The basic function of the Delivery Office Supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the work of associates who interact with customers and store associates regarding delivery of product in the Region Distribution Center.
Management
Warehouse Supervisor:
The basic function of the Warehouse Supervisor position is to oversee the work of the associates responsible for receiving product and product movement within the Distribution Centers.
Manager in Training:
The role is a manager of others which is directly responsible for selecting, scheduling, leading, supervising, directing, disciplining, coaching, counseling, and training of associates. Warehouse Management must have a detailed understanding of the operational processes and technologies that impact functions within the Distribution Center.
